Let's Pray again

A note from Women's Director, Angelia Carpenter:

"Let's Pray Again in 2010"... this is our district women's theme for 2010!  The focus is prayer!  You have heard it said, "The church will only go forward on her knees."  Whether you pray kneeling, driving, or walking: the answer is PRAYER!  The Word says "If."  "If my people will pray..." God will move on our behalf!  It's time we get Intentional in spending time with God. 

For several months the Lord has burdened my heart that 2010 should be a year focused on prayer.  I like the descriptive words the Amplified version uses, "If my people will humble, pray, seek, crave and require of necessity my face."  May prayer become a necessity for each one of us just as our daily food and the air we breathe.  David said in Psalms 27, "one thing have I desired of the Lord..." one thing is necessity.  Ultimately that one thing was spending time in the presence of the Lord!  He promised if we would pray, heaven would hear and answer!  The Word has challenged us, and I encourage you , let's pray again in 2010!

My prayer for you from the Word of God:

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better."  Eph.1:17
